Need to buy a computer system?

The ongoing pandemic has brought many challenges to us all – including potential delays in equipment order delivery and, sometimes, supply shortages. If you need to purchase any equipment for your home office, it is highly recommended that you start your search as soon as possible. Be prepared, Be smart, Plan ahead.

In order to use the Arise platform, agent computers must meet the requirements for their System and Equipment Policy.

In order for each agent to provide good-quality call center services the system and equipment policy, listed below, should be met. Having the correct equipment is a critical component of a successful call center career. Our clients have arranged this policy to help ensure all CSP’s are set up to effectively service one, or more, of the great opportunities on your account’s dashboard without issues.​
We understand that, as contractors, it’s your responsibility to obtain the training and equipment needed to provide services. EMS is available to recommend equipment that is know to work properly within the Arise platform. If you’re unsure or unable to locate the items below- just let us know and we’ll point you in the right direction!

System Requirements

Here’s what you’ll need:

PC/Windows Computer Requirements:
Windows 10 (desktop preferred). (Note: Windows 8.1 is not supported by some client programs.)

CPU i5 or i7 recommended with a speed of 2.8 GHz and better or Intel i class or AMD Phenom X2 class or better. Atom, Celeron, Pentium, or Opteron Processors are NOT allowed.
Hard drive 20 GB available space and 60 GB of total space available

RAM must have a minimum of 4GB – 8 GB or more preferred

Dual Monitors (two computer screens) highly recommended

Computer must have an Ethernet port

*Dual boot machines, Netbooks, Chromebooks, Notebooks, Tablets, and All-in-One computers are prohibited not be compatible with the systems and programs used.

Mac Computer Requirements:
CPU Intel Core i5 2.7 Gs processor or better

Hard drive 20 GB available space and 60 GB of total space available

RAM must have a minimum of 4 GB – 8 GB preferred

Must be running MS Windows via Boot Camp.
*Boot Camp and a licensed, approved, version of Windows MUST be installed if the client program is a non-ASD program.

All System Requirements: 
Computer must have a working Ethernet port

A Working Headset

USB headset with built in microphone – (Logitech, Platronics, Microsoft, or similar brands recommended​. You can locate these on Amazon for as little as $19.99)

​Hardwired Telephone and Land Line – (Please DO NOT install a land line if you don’t already have one. Some opportunities do not require them. If one is required, it can be installed at a later date to save you money up front.)
**To ensure a secure connection, Mobile Phones are not permitted when taking calls. A Smart Device is, however, required to log into our programs for security purposes while servicing. You may need a smart device such as a smart phone, tablet, and/or iPad.**

High Speed Internet
WIFI connections are NOT supported. Your computer must be plugged into a modem (hardwired) at all times when providing call center services from home. Ethernet Cords can be purchased for as little as $8 on Amazon or at locations such as Wal-Mart.

​Dedicated quite space with no interruptions.
Customers shouldn’t be able to hear televisions, doorbells, dishes clinging, kids, animals, etc.
